Hull have signed veteran striker Dele Adebola on a free transfer.

The 36-year-old has put pen to paper on a one-year deal following his release from Nottingham Forest.

He becomes the third closed-season signing for the Tigers, with Corry Evans and Joe Dudgeon already added to Nigel Pearson's squad.

Adebola told the club's official website: "I'm really excited about taking on a new challenge and to get that opportunity at a big club such as Hull is great for me.

"I saw as an outsider what an impact the manager and his playing squad had on the Championship last season and I want to be involved in the progress made here next season."
