Brazilian sensation Neymar is one of the most courted high-profile players in recent memory, with five clubs reported to have met his astonishing buyout clause of €45 million.

The likes of Real Madrid Barcelona and Inter Milan have been linked with the Santos forward, while Chelsea have been leading the English charge for the 19-year-old.

Although a move to Madrid is supposedly Neymar's preference, the Samba contingent of David Luiz, Ramires and Alex at Stamford Bridge could yet persuade their international teammate that west London should become his destination.

Bringing Neymar to Chelsea would represent quite a coup for new boss Andre Villas-Boas, and one of predecessors - Gianluca Vialli - hopes a deal can be completed for the teenage star.

"I’ve watched him many times on TV playing for Santos and I like him," Vialli told talkSPORT. "He’s a bit flashy at times, like Cristiano Ronaldo, but he's very effective.

"He works really hard for the team. He's only young but comes across as a very mature guy already. I think he would be a tremendous signing for Chelsea Football Club.

"Santos is full of great players like Ganso and Danilo but Neymar would be tremendous for Chelsea."
