Crystal Palace have agreed to take Morgan Gould on trial, with the South African defender currently waiting for the paperwork on a British visa to be finalised.
Gould currently holds 16 caps for the South African national side, and starred for SuperSport United last season. He would join compatriot Kagisho Dikgacio at Selhurst Park should a permanent offer be made to be placed on the clubs books.
"I can confirm that Crystal Palace would like to have a look at Morgan Gould on trial," SuperSport's chief operations officer Jose Ferreiraa told skysports.com.
"At this stage we have only just received the invitation so all the logistics still need to be decided.
"That will all be decided over the next few days as we wait for him to get a permit to travel to the UK."
"There has been other interest in him from one or two in clubs in Russia but Morgan has said previously that he would prefer to play in England."
The 28-year-old, who was born in Soweto, has notched 49 appearances for SuperSport since joining the club in 2008, and won the Premier Soccer League title in 2009 and 2010.
