Tevez transfer saga rumbles on

Carlos Tevez has declared he wants to leave Manchester City in order to be closer to his family, who live in Argentina.

But City are determined that Tevez will only leave if their £50m valuation of the player is met, potentially preventing any deal.

City will pursue Sergio Aguero if a suitable amount is offered for Tevez, who has scored 53 goals in 86 appearances for the club.

Gael Clichy completed his transfer to Manchester City earlier in the week, declaring that with City, ‘anything is possible’.


Now reports claim that City are closing in on Samir Nasri, whose future remains unresolved after he rejected a new contract at Arsenal.

With Cesc Fabregas also potentially leaving the club for Barcelona, Wenger is targeting Eden Hazard, Juan Mata Aly Cissoko.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has reiterated that Luka Modric and Gareth Bale will not leave White Hart Lane this summer.
