Chelsea have made an enquiry for Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri, according to skysports.com.
The Frenchman is yet to agree a new deal with The Gunners, leading to interest from Manchester City and Manchester United.
But reports claim Chelsea have joined the race to sign Nasri.
Following an impressive campaign for Arsenal, Nasri has failed to sign a new contract, and United and City are reported to be interested.
City and United are reportedly ready to bid up to £25 million to try and tempt the attacking midfielder from the Emirates Stadium.
With Andre Villas-Boas now installed as the new manager at Chelsea, The Blues can look firmly at genuine transfer targets, and Nasri appears to be the No.1 target for the new Portuguese manager.
City and United, who are also battling over Javier Pastore, were leading the race for Nasri, but Chelsea' intervention could be decisive.
Following the sale of Gael Clichy to Manchester City, Nasri is expected to be the next departure from Arsenal this summer, with Cesc Fabregas likely to follow.
However the Gunners are expected to announce the signing of Gervinho this week after reports emerged that the Ivory Coast international was undergoing a medical in north-London.
