Barca offer Gunners Clichy replacement - reports

Arsenal are to be offered Eric Abidal or Maxwell to help broker a move for Cesc Fabregas, according to the Metro.

A deal for Fabregas is yet to be completed, with both clubs stumbling over agreeing a fee for the Spaniard.

And to help a deal go through, the Catalan's are prepared to let either Abidal or Maxwell join Arsenal, a move that would cover the exit of Gael Clichy.

 

Barca are desperate to conclude a deal for Fabregas after years of tracking the Arsenal skipper.

The club hope that following the departure of Clichy, Arsenal will be tempted to part with their talisman, in exchange for a replacement for the French full-back.
