United rebuffed in Nasri pursuit

-Manchester United have reportedly had an offer of £20 million rejected for Samir Nasri.

It has been claimed the Barclays Premier League champions will return with an improved offer.

-Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Blackpool captain Charlie Adam, after the 25-year-old passed a medical at Melwood on Thursday.

Neither the length of the contract or the fee have been disclosed.

-Luka Modric will honour his contract with Tottenham, according to his agent Nikky Vuksan.

While boosted by the Modric news, Spurs are said to be ready to bid £21 million for Valencia winger Juan Mata.




 

-Arsene Wenger is reportedly planning a £27 million offer to bring Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema to Arsenal.

-Andre Villas-Boas could be reunited with Porto pair Hulk and Falcao after the strikers hinted at possible moves to Chelsea.

-Sunderland have completed the double capture of defensive duo Wes Brown and John O'Shea from Manchester United.
