Walsall have completed the signing of midfielder Adam Chambers from Leyton Orient.
The 30-year-old, Orient's longest-serving player with almost 200 appearances, has signed a one-year deal with the option of a further year.
Walsall boss Dean Smith said: "As soon as I found out that Leyton Orient were willing to let Adam go, I had no hesitation in speaking to him about a move here."
He added: "I know him very well both as a player and a person. He's a great professional, who will give us energy and a touch of quality.
"He knows this league inside out and has also played at a higher level earlier in his career, so I'm delighted to have him on board.
Chambers came through the ranks at hometown club West Brom, making his senior debut in 2000. He had a brief spell at Kidderminster after leaving The Hawthorns and joined Orient in the summer of 2006.
