Earnie excited by Bluebirds chance

Returning Cardiff striker Robert Earnshaw says he cannot wait to wear the club's shirt once again.

The 30-year-old Welshman, who left the Bluebirds to sign for West Brom seven years ago, rejoined the club on a free transfer on Wednesday after his contract at Forest expired.

"I've never been shy to admit the closeness I feel to Cardiff City Football Club," Earnshaw told the club's official website.

"I've said that since the day I left in 2004.

"I get back on the training ground in Cardiff City colours on Friday and then pre-season continues in Spain before our first friendly fixture against Charlton.


 

"It's going to be very, very special pulling on that blue shirt again - I'm really looking forward to it."
