Brighton have agreed a fee with Dagenham for defender Romain Vincelot.

The 25-year-old right-back is now discussing personal terms with the newly-promoted Championship club.

Vincelot had a trial with Albion in December 2009, before signing for Dagenham.

But boss Gus Poyet has come back in for the Frenchman in a deal reported to be worth £100,000, beating off interest from Bradford.

Poyet wants to sign up to five more players this summer.

He is still trying to bring Newcastle winger Kazenga LuaLua back to the south coast.
