Manchester United scouts are set to watch teen sensation Jordan Ibe this weekend, according to the Daily Mirror.

Sir Alex Ferguson has reportedly taken a personal liking to the 15-year-old, who starred for Wycombe last weekend when they defeated Staines 5-0 in a pre-season match.

And with the Manchester United manager chasing younger talent in the hopes of building a fresh squad with long term success, Ibe is the perfect candidate to make the move to United with his potential for stardom.

Ferguson certainly has a successful track record of scouting young talent, finding United legends David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Javier Hernandez is the latest to star in his debut season under the Manchester United manager, and if Ferguson thinks highly of Ibe, then other clubs will sit up and take notice of the youngster.

Wycombe boss Gary Waddock said of Ibe after his goal, "We rate him very highly. He's in the first team group at the moment.

"We saw a lot of him last year, with the work he's done in the youth department. They know how good he is.

"The lad's full of confidence. He's been training with us and we put him into a game situation.

"It doesn't matter about age. If he's a good player, he's a good player."
