Moussi commits to Forest

Published Add your comment

Midfielder Guy Moussi has signed a new three-year contract at Nottingham Forest.

The Frenchman's previous deal expired at the end of last month and it was uncertain whether he would remain at the City Ground. However, Moussi is looking forward to working with new manager Steve McClaren.

"I spoke to the other lads and they told me a lot of positive things about the new manager," he told the club's official website.

"I already knew he was a good coach and I am looking forward to working for him. I am very happy at Forest and now it is time to get down to work."

McClaren flew to France to speak to Moussi personally while negotiations were ongoing.

Moussi added: "It was good for him to do that. It was something I appreciated and it made me happy."
