Rangers have secured another key player on a long-term contract after midfielder Steven Davis signed on for five more years.
The Northern Ireland midfielder follows Allan McGregor and Steven Whittaker in committing himself to the club this summer.
The 26-year-old had been entering the final year of his previous deal and his signature is a major boost for Rangers days before they begin the defence of their Clydesdale Bank Premier League title at home to Hearts.
Davis arrived at Ibrox on loan from Fulham in January 2008, helping the club reach the UEFA Cup final.
The former Aston Villa midfielder signed for the club on a long-term basis months later and has won three consecutive SPL titles since.
The news, announced on the club's official website, comes after McGregor last month signed for six years and Whittaker for five years.
Rangers director of football Gordon Smith last week revealed that defender Madjid Bougherra, who is also entering the final year of his contract, was open to discussing an extended stay.
