Spurs look to £15m Serie A striker deal - reports

Tottenham Hotspur will look to Mirko Vucinic if a deal for Emmanuel Adaboyr can't be agreed, according to Metro.

Harry Redknapp signalled his intentions to sign Adabayor following Spurs' friendly draw against Orlando Pirates.

But the City striker, who was on loan at Real Madrid last season, is said to prefer a move to the la Liga side, instead of a move to Tottenham.

Hence Redknapp, who is yet to spend any money in the transfer market despite bringing in Brad Friedel, Souleymane Coulibaly and Cristian Ceballos, may turn his attention to Vucinic, who is currently with Roma.

Vucinic is reportedly worth £15 million and would fill the void expected to be left by either Peter Crouch, Robbie Keane or Jermaine Defoe in the Tottenham squad.

The Montenegrin forward scored 10 goals for Roma last season, more goals than all of the aforementioned duo managed in the Premier League for Tottenham last season.
