Highly rated Tottenham defender Kyle Naughton is on the verge of completing a season-long loan switch to Norwich City after snubbing advances from QPR according to the Fulham Chronicle.
The 22-year-old full-back had attracted interest from the Barclays Premier League new boys as manager Neil Warnock continues to look for reinforcements to strengthen his squad ahead of the new season.
Naughton is currently in South Africa with Harry Redknapp and the rest of the Spurs senior squad, featuring in Tuesday's 1-1 friendly draw with the Orlando Pirates.
But with fierce competition for places at White Hart Lane again expected next season, Naughton could be loaned out again by Spurs in order to continue his development.
Redknapp is keen for the player to remain in the top-flight, and has welcomed interest from both Rangers and the Canaries for the Tottenham youngster.
If Naughton moves to Carrow Road, he will become manager Paul Lambert's seventh new arrival ahead of the 2011-12 campaign following Anthony Pilkington, Elliott Bennett, James Vaughan, Ritchie de Laet, Bradley Johnson and Steve Morison to East Anglia.
