Manchester United are facing a face in their pursuit of Ezequiel Lavezzi, Marek Hamsik and Edinson Cavani, with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting that Napoli coach Walter Mazzari believing the trio will stay in Italy.
"From what I know, all three will stay at the club," Mazzarri said.
"They are all willing to start the season with the Napoli colours."
Cavani has been a target for Manchester United for months, but with his agent placing a €100 million price tag over the star’s head, he has become more of a pipe dream for Sir Alex Ferguson.
Hamsik also had a €100 million price tag slapped on him, but it would appear that Napoli are merely hoping to stop United coming up for a bid for their big names.
And Lastly, Lavezzi worth £35 million, was being chased by both Manchester City and United, but there were said to be disagreements over the price of the star.
