Baldwin deal done

Hartlepool have signed young defender Jack Baldwin from Ryman League side Faversham Town following a successful trial.

The 18-year-old featured for the youth team in a 2-1 victory against Newcastle on Monday and played the second half of Wednesday`s friendly win at Blyth Spartans.

Pools fought off competition from League Two side Gillingham to complete a deal for the centre-back, who will resume training with his new team-mates on Monday.
