Didier Drogba's brother Freddy has been offered a contract by French side Dijon FCO, and could take up a place next to Florent Malouda's brother Lesley next season.

The Chelsea relatives are both younger than their Blue siblings, Freddy is 17 while Lesley is 27.

Both Florent and Didier started life in French football before making their way to Chelsea, and their brothers are not far behind their footsteps.

Freddy, a strong attacking player, has been offered the contract to draw the young talent away from Le Mans where both he and his older brother started their professional careers.

Meanwhile Lesley Malouda, who has only made two appearances for the French club that gained promotion last season, plays in defence in direct contrast to his fast attacking Chelsea brother who he grew up with in French Guiana.

The details of Freddy Drogba's contract with the club, which Florent Malouda owns shares in, are yet to be revealed, but he has been shining in the Cote d'Ivoire's Under 21 team's recent fixtures.

The Ivorian's older brother Didier gave some sound advice to the 14-year-old before he joined Le Mans.

"I told him if you want to try to be a footballer, go to Le Mans," Drogba told his younger brother. "You will have to work hard but it's for your own good."
