Mixed news for Esajas

Dutch winger Etienne Esajas has secured a permanent switch to Swindon after impressing on trial - but he is poised to miss the start of the new season.

Esajas, who made 65 appearances for Sheffield Wednesday during his previous stint in English football, has penned a two-year deal at the County Ground after leaving Helmond Sport.

The 26-year-old scored in the friendlies against a Marche XI and Swindon Supermarine but injured a shoulder in Monday's clash at Cirencester and could now be sidelined for the big kick-off.
