Kenny Dalglish has begun a long-awaited cleanout at Liverpool, with Milan Jovanovic the first of a trio set for exits from the club over the next few weeks.
"On August 2 I will know whether or not I will move to Anderlecht,” Jovanovic told Belgian press.
"Then I have a meeting with the board. The interest is serious and the board really wants me.
"There is a big chance an agreement will be made."
But Jovanovic isn’t the only Liverpool star looking at an exit from the club.
Alberto Aquilani has long made his ambitions to stay in Italy clear, and though a deal between Fiorentina and Liverpool looked to have fallen through, Aquilani’s agent insists a move is still on the cards.
"It remains possible", said Zavaglia about Aquilani’s move to the Italian club.
"The deal is not at risk. I don’t know what to say in England, but he wants a transfer on a permanent basis."
Thomas Ince is also looking to have completed an agreement with Championship side Blackpool, according to the Daily Mirror, leaving Dalglish to free up some funds to bring in new players to the Liverpool line up.
On Dalglish’s transfer wishlist are left-back targets, along with more midfield signings to provide new strikeforce Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez with the ball.
