Liverpool target Scott Dann has admitted his ambition is to play in the Barclays Premier League, but the Birmingham City defender refuses to comment on any potential move.
The 24-year-old moved down a league with Birmingham City last season following their relegation, and despite speculation over a move to Chelsea, Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Stoke, as well as Kenny Dalglish's Liverpool, Dann remains at St Andrew's.
"Obviously I'm an ambitious person and I want to play at the top level. Everyone who knows me knows that," said the boyhood Liverpool fan.
"I don't really want to comment on speculation. Things have been said in the press and it's always like that. Up until now I'm still a Birmingham City player.
"Obviously players have moved on and I'm still here. Until anything happens otherwise I'm still a Birmingham player. I can't say much more really."
Dann insists that he has been focused on his personal development, despite rumours of £10 million interest from Liverpool.
"From a personal point of view I've just been concentrating on getting myself fit," he added.
"I missed the end of the season last year and I've been determined to get myself back fit and back playing games. I've done that, I'm back and ready to go now and just looking forward to the season."
