Juventus are preparing a double bid for Chelsea defender Alex and Manchester United winger Nani, according to talkSPORT.

The Italian giants have been on something of a spending spree this summer, and having snapped up Mirko Vucinic from Roma, are looking to put the finishing touches to their squad for the new season.

However, Chelsea and Manchester United, who have their own ambitions of having a decent season, may have two of their stars turns in, in Alex and Nani, tempted away from the Premier League.

Following the signing of David Luiz in the January transfer window, Alax has slipped down the pecking order at Chelsea, while at United the signing of Ashley Young has put pressure on Nani's place in the first team at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese winger has in the past stated that he wishes to stay with United but with Antonio Valencia having recently signed a new contract, competition for places will be competitive.

Alex's position at Chelsea is slightly more perilous, with new manager Andre Villas-Boas reportedly keen to bring in a new English defender to Stamford Bridge.
