Reported Chelsea target Hulk will not be allowed to leave current club FC Porto for less than his €100million release clause according to the Portuguese club's president Pinto da Costa.
Costa revealed he is yet to receive a bid for any of his star players, but reiterated the club's standpoint that nobody would be allowed to leave on the cheap.
Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas has been heavily linked with a number of his former players following his summer switch from Porto to Stamford Bridge, though it is Hulk who is deemed to be the most likely Chelsea target.
The prolific marksman has also attracted interest from Real Madrid, but Da Costa shelved talks of a move to the Bernabeu insisting he wouldn't consider any offer with the La Liga club.
"At the moment, I would not swap Hulk for Cristiano Ronaldo," he told Porto TV. "But our club have not received an offer for him, I believe these rumours are only created by the papers.
"Porto value Hulk at €100million (£87million) and I believe it will be difficult for any club to pay that.
"Falcao and Alvaro Pereira are not heading for the exit door [either]. Only a mad offer could change our decision, but I am confident [of keeping them]."
Chelsea have so far been uncharacteristically quiet in this summer's transfer window, bar the signing of up and coming youngsters Thibaut Courtois [Racing Genk], and Oriel Romeu [Barcelona], the Blues are yet to make any major waves in the market.
Having previously had two bids for Tottenham playmaker Luka Modric turned down, Chelsea could now turn their attention to Hulk as Villas-Boas looks to land one marquee signing ahead of the new season.
