Tottenham Hotspur are set to miss out on Brazilian starlet Casemiro.
The Sao Paolo teenager has been linked with a host of clubs across Europe, with the coveted youngster tracked by teams in England, Spain, Italy and Germany.
Reports in Italy claim Inter Milan have beaten their rivals to land the player, with the Brazil U20 midfielder moving for a rumoured £8 million up-front with additional add-ons, according to talkSPORT.
It's a blow for Spurs, whose connections in Brazil have seen them land Sandro within the last 12 months, a player who is now a regular in the first team at White Hart Lane.
Other Brazilians, notably Leandro Damiao, have been linked with moves to Tottenham Hotspur this summer, but the north Londoners appear set to miss out on another South American starlet on this occasion.
The news is another transfer blow for Spurs boss Harry Redknapp, with last season's Champions League quarter-finalists failing to land a host of targets so far this summer and pressure mounting over a potential third bid for playmaker Luka Modric.
