Manchester United are ready to fund Inter Milan's deal for Carlos Tevez, when they sign Wesley Sneijder, according to the Mirror.
Tevez has made his intentions of leaving City perfectly clear this summer, while United are keen to bring in a replacement for Paul Scholes and see Sneijder as the ideal man to fill the void.
As a result United could go on to fund the transfer of Tevez, a man once adored at Old Trafford.
His acrimonious departure from United and his subsequent move to City left a bad taste in the mouth of many fans in the red half of Manchester.
But now, in a strange twist United may be set to fund Tevez's departure from City, as they look to bring Sneijder to the Premier League.
City have already brought in a replacement for Tevez, in the form of Sergio Aguero.
