Rotherham have completed the capture of Michael Raynes from Scunthorpe for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old centre-back, who started his career at Stockport before moving to the Iron in 2010, has penned a two-year deal at the Don Valley Stadium Stadium.
Raynes, who played with Millers team-mates Adam Le Fondre, Conrad Logan, Johnny Mullins and Jason Taylor at Stockport, told his new club`s official website: "I'm delighted to be here. This is a massive club and I know a lot of the lads here."
He added: When the opportunity arose for me to sign I was over the moon."
