Manchester United target Wesley Sneijder has received resounding praise from Old Trafford new boy Ashley Young.
The Dutch playmaker has announced that he thinks he is for sale, but Sir Alex Ferguson has remained coy about confirming that negotiations have taken place between the Red Devils and Inter Milan this summer.
Young, who made his competitive debut for Manchester United in a stunning 3-2 comeback win in the Community Shield against Manchester City, could be competing for position with Sneijder if a deal went through, but only had good words to say about the player.
"He's a terrific player. He's done great throughout his career for club and country."
But Young refused to divulge any further, adding: "He's an Inter Milan player, that's all I can say about him to be honest."
Manchester United will have to put up £35 million to acquire the 27-year-old, according to Sky Sports.
