Arsenal youngster Ignasi Miquel is targeting more minutes in the first team this season.
The Spanish starlet helped his nation to the European Under-19 Championship earlier in the summer, and has returned from Romania full of confidence at Arsenal following the victory.
After making his debut for the Arsenal first team against Leyton Orient in the FA Cup last term, the future looks bright for Miquel at the Emirates.
"Coming back from winning it is really big and I am coming back confident," he told the official Arsenal website.
"Winning the European Cup and being called up for the first-team without training with them - I am really happy. I go back now trying to improve myself to become better."
The 18-year-old was part of the senior Gunners squad that traveled to Portugal to face Benfica in the Eusebio Cup defeat last weekend, and the backing of Arsene Wenger has given the former reserve team captain belief for the coming campaign.
"The boss has said congratulations to me but now I have to forget about it and focus on Arsenal," he continued.
"I obviously want to get more minutes with the first-team. I know it's going to be hard but I'm going to fight for it."
