Tottenham Hotspur target Pablo Osvaldo could make a move to Roma, after the Serie A side reportedly submitted a bid worth £16 million, according to talkSPORT.
The Italian side have reportedly opened negotiations with the Argentine forward's club Espanyol and an offer was submitted, despite it being below the player's valuation of £18.5 million.
New Roma boss Luis Enrique sees Osvaldo as the ideal partner to Bojan Krkic, who signed from Barcelona earlier this week, but Tottenham are keen to sign the forward to assist their Champions League bid.
Tottenham have been keeping tabs on the forward and are expected to make a bid for the 25-year-old who scored 13 goals in La Liga last season.
Athletico Madrid may also compete with Tottenham and Roma for Osvaldo, but their valuation of £14 million would put them on the back foot in the deal.
