Max Ehmer will strengthen Yeovil's backline when he returns for their match with Oldham.

The German defender is on loan at Huish Park from Premier League newcomers QPR.

He missed the Glovers' Carling Cup exit at the hands of Exeter after he picked up an ankle injury in the 2-0 opening-day defeat to Brentford.

Ehmer's return means Yeovil boss Terry Skiverton will have a fully-fit squad to select from.

New signings Kerrea Gilbert and Abdulai Bell-Baggie will be available after both signed short-term deals on Tuesday. Gilbert was among the substitutes in the defeat to the Grecians.

Yeovil are yet to score this season but will take heart from the fact that Oldham are also winless in their two fixtures.

Oldham boss Paul Dickov is boosted by the return of Matt Lund.

The midfielder played for Northern Ireland Under-21s against Faroe Islands in midweek, forcing him to miss the Carling Cup defeat to Carlisle, but comes back into contention to face the Glovers.

The Latics will take an 18-man squad to Huish Park which includes central defender Zander Diamond, who picked up a knock in midweek but will hope to be passed fit.

Dickov's men are bidding to record their first win of the season after beginning the campaign with a 2-0 home defeat to Sheffield United last weekend.

The Latics boss is aiming to sign a new striker, saying: "It has to be the right one."
