Plymouth could be handed a triple boost for the clash with Rotherham.

Pilgrims boss Peter Reid hopes to welcome back captain Carl Fletcher, striker Warren Feeney and right-back Durrell Berry after the trio missed the Carling Cup defeat to Millwall.

Fletcher grabbed a last-gasp equaliser in the opening-day fixture with Shrewsbury but missed the Lions` visit with a thigh strain.

Argyle fielded three teenage strikers in the Millwall game but should be able to call on the experience of 30-year-old Feeney, who was ruled out of Northern Ireland's 4-0 win over the Faroe Islands with a groin injury.

"The way it's looking, we will have a couple more players fit for the weekend, which will be a big boost for everyone," Reid said.

Rotherham manager Andy Scott has plenty of options at his disposal.

Goalkeeper Conrad Logan should come back in after he was ineligible for Tuesday's 4-1 Carling Cup defeat against parent-club Leicester while striker Lewis Grabban and Marcus Marshall, who Scott is trying to convert to a right-back, have recovered from knocks that forced them both off at half-time in that clash.

Defender Troy Brown, who also missed the game, will be assessed after he played 90 minutes for Wales Under-21s in midweek and he will be hopeful of replacing Michael Raynes in the starting line-up.

Johnny Mullins, Jamie Annerson and Paul Warne are all struggling with knee injuries and they will not feature for some time.

Scott is not fazed by what he admits is a tricky team selection, and said: "We have got a good squad. If I wanted to make my life easier I would have got 11 really good players and seven or eight not so good ones.

"I put pressure on myself by forming a squad where you have to make tough decisions."
