Abu Ogogo will miss Dagenham's home clash against Swindon due to the ankle injury which forced him off on Saturday.

The full-back was withdrawn just before half-time in the weekend's 2-0 home defeat against AFC Wimbledon and will be replaced by Oluwafemi Ilesanmi for the visit of Paolo Di Canio's Robins.

Ogogo's absence only adds to an already lengthy injury list for manager John Still, with defender Richard Rose (groin), midfielders Billy Bingham (knee), Kevin Maher (metatarsal) and Peter Gain (hernia) as well as strikers Rob Edmans (fractured leg) and Josh Scott (hip) still unavailable.

Goalkeeper Chris Lewington returned from suspension on Saturday to regain the number one jersey from James Shea and should again start between the sticks.

Meanwhile, the Daggers have signed striker Dwight Gayle following his impressive outings for the club during pre-season, although he has immediately joined Blue Square Bet North side Bishop's Stortford on a season-long loan deal.

Luke Wilkinson has also linked up with Boreham Wood on loan until January while fellow defender Duran Reynolds has joined St Neots on a month-long deal.

Swindon are set to complete the signing of winger Lander Gabilondo although he will not be available in time for Tuesday's match.

The Spaniard is poised to become the latest addition to Paolo Di Canio's squad although there will be no contract offered to Austrian trialist striker Michael Wojtanowicz.

Di Canio told the club's official website: "We have agreed everything (with Gabilondo) and hopefully he will sign on Tuesday. He has a lot of ability and is a player who is very good out wide and in one-on-one situations."

One winger who is pushing to start against the Daggers is Etienne Esajas after he made his long-awaited Robins debut as a second-half substitute in Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Cheltenham following a shoulder injury.

Goalkeeper Mattia Lanzano (ribs) and Mehdi Kerrouche (knee) are both back in training but the game is likely to come too soon for them.

Alessandro Cibocchi continues to miss out with his ankle injury.
