Robbie Keane has agreed a deal to join LA Galaxy from Tottenham Hotspur, according to Goal.com.
The deal, which could be worth in excess of the initial £2.2 million fee, means Keane will swap White Hart Lane for the MLS.
Keane follows in the footsteps of Thierry Henry, who moved to Barcelona from Arsenal before joining New York Red Bulls and David Beckham, who joined the Galaxy in 2007.
Tottenham are set to make a significant loss on the sale of Keane, who they brought for £12 million from Liverpool in 2009.
His departure leaves Tottenham thread bare in attack, with the future of Peter Crouch and Roman Pavlyuchenko still uncertain.
Pablo Osvaldo has been linked with the club, but Tottenham would prefer to bring in Giuseppe Rossi, who had a short spell with Manchester United.
