Liverpool striker Daniel Pacheco is ready to leave the lug for Rayo Vallecano, according to talkSPORT.

The former Barcelona striker, who spent last season on loan at Norwich City, has failed to break into the Reds first team despite being earmarked as a star of the future upon his arrival from the Nou Camp.

However, with Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez in their ranks, Pacheco appears surplus to requirements at Liverpool.

The 20-year-old failed to secure a deal with newly promoted Norwich, despite scoring twice for the club as The Canaries were promoted from the Npower Championship.

Liverpool's inability to sell David N'Gog has also seemingly made the Spaniard's future at Anfield untenable, with first team opportunities few and far between.

The club did sign Marco Bueno earlier this summer on a trial, pushing Pacheco further down the Liverpool pecking order.
