West Ham are reportedly considering an offer for MK Dons striker Sam Baldock as the east London club pursue more potent goalscoring options.
According to the Daily Mail, the Dons are expecting an offer for the £1.5 million-rated Baldock after Sam Allardyce witnessed the 22-year-old score a hat-trick against Chesterfield on Saturday.
Baldock netted 14 times in 34 appearances last season and has seemingly been identified as a player with the potential to enhance West Ham's credentials as promotion candidates.
Another forward allegedly earmarked as a potential acquisition for the Hammers is Nice's Eric Mouloungui, who is valued at around £2 million by his employers.
The Irons have also been consistently linked with Bristol City's Nick Maynard, with Allardyce since confirming he was keen to bring the 23-year-old to Upton Park.
Meanwhile, West Ham are also interested in Leeds winger Max Gradel, who gave the Hammers' defence a torrid time during Sunday's 2-2 draw at the Boleyn Ground.
