Simon Grayson is keen to add firepower to his Elland Road ranks after a shaky start to Leeds' Npower Championship campaign, although the weekend point at West Ham United is likely to serve as a confidence booster for the Yorkshire side.
TalkSPORT claims the 76-cap international does have offers on the table from other clubs, but his desire to play in England once again puts Leeds United in a strong position to complete the capture.
His addition would add competition to the likes of Luciano Becchio, currently sidelined through injury, Billy Paynter, David Somma, Ross McCormack and Rpbert Snodgrass.
