Tottenham are reportedly close to finalising a deal for Le Havre teenager El Hadji Ba

According to France Football, the France under-18 midfielder has agreed terms with Spurs and is expected to sign a three year deal after passing a medical.

The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the best prospects in French football and has already established himself in the first-team at Stade Jules Deschaseaux.

Should Ba complete his move to White Hart Lane, he will become the second highly-rated youngster to join Spurs this summer after Souleymane Coulibaly joined from Sienna earlier in the transfer window.

Spurs, meanwhile, are reported to have signed Emmanuel Adebayor on a season long loan from Manchester City.

Harry Redknapp confirmed last week that the two clubs were in talks and now, it has been claimed, the former Arsenal striker will return to north London.
