Steven Pienaar (groin), Wilson Palacios (knee), Jermaine Jenas (Achilles), Ledley King (knee), Alan Hutton (knee), William Gallas (calf) and Sandro (knee) will play no part for Tottenham tonight.
Hearts, meanwhile, will make eight changes from the side that lost last week.
Jamie MacDonald, Ryan McGowan, Marius Zaliukas, Eggert Jonsson, Scott Robinson,Arvydas Novikovas, Rudi Skacel and Gordon Smith all come in for the second leg.
Redknapp unsure over Modric inclusion
Harry Redknapp has revealed he is still unsure as to whether Luka Modric will play any part in tonight's Europa League playoff against Hearts.
The Croatian was left out on Monday as Spurs crashed to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester United, as he was deemed not to be in the right frame of mind to play.
Modric has been the subject of intense interest from Chelsea this summer, but Spurs maintain the 25-year-old will not be sold at any price.
Redknapp, naturally, is desperate to keep hold of his playmaker, although still does not know when it will be best to throw him back into action.
"We can all sit here and say 'he'll be right' but we don't know what is in his head," said the Spurs boss.
"Who knows? None of us know how he is going to feel. That's the risk you run.
"But he is here and he has to go on with it, for his own good.
"He has to come out and be the great player that we all know he is, he has to have a great season."
Spurs go into tonight's encounter knowing it would take a near miracle for Hearts to deny them a spot in the Europa League draw.
The north London club have a five-goal cushion after last week's rout at Tynecastle, and are expected to rest a number of key players at White Hart Lane.
