Newcastle defender Danny Simpson has dismissed suggestions that he is looking to leave the club this summer.
The full-back is a reported target for nouveau-riche Queens Park Rangers, but says he will stay at St James' Park until the remainder of his contact at least.
"I'm a Newcastle player with a contract for another two years,” he told the Evening Chronicle.
"I enjoyed last season and I'm settled here with my family and happy playing games for a massive club."
Simpson joined Newcastle permanently from Manchester United in January 2010, having spent a successful loan spell with the Magpies.
The 24-year-old full-back has since gone on to make 52 appearances for Newcastle - all of them starts - and has become an integral member of Alan Pardew's squad.
