Arsenal have reportedly joined the growing list of admirers of Caen teenager M'Baye Niang, who has also been attracting interest from Tottenham.

According to, the Gunners have made an enquiry about the availability of the young striker, who is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in Europe, and is valued at around €11 million.

Arsenal will, however, have to fight off interest from Spurs if they hope to bring Niang to the Emirates Stadium, while Real Madrid and Liverpool have also been credited with interest in the 16-year-old.

It is claimed that Arsene Wenger is hoping his connections in France will put him in the driving seat to sign Niang, who could become the latest teenager to join Arsenal this summer.

Arsenal have already signed Joel Campbell, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Carl Jenkinson as Wenger continues to invest heavily in youth.

Spurs, meanwhile, are also making a concerted effort to bring the cream of young talent to White Hart Lane, with highly-rated Ivorian youngster Souleymane Coulibaly having already signed this summer.

France under-18 midfielder El Hadji Ba is reportedly next on the Spurs radar, as Harry Redknapp looks to build a team capable of challenging for honours in the future.
