Keeper Carl Ikeme has signed a one-month extension to his loan spell at Middlesbrough.

The 25-year-old has played all four Championship matches since his move from Wolves at the start of the season.

Ikeme was signed as cover for Jason Steele, after the regular number one broke his wrist in training.

Despite not being allowed to play in Carling Cup matches, Ikeme is likely to be reinstated between the sticks for the visit of Coventry.
