Williams heads to Millers

Rotherham have boosted their attacking options with the loan capture of Brett Williams from Reading, just 24 hours after Adam Le Fondre moved to the Madejski Stadium.

Williams, 23, has joined until January 29, seven months after his prolific form for non-league Eastleigh convinced the Championship club to make a move for the striker.

Rotherham manager Andy Scott told his club's official website: "He is someone I have kept an eye on. He is a good size, over six foot, obviously he is untried but this is an opportunity for him to be involved in league football. He is a goalscorer, he is quick, strong and I am sure he will take to League Two."
