Pearce: Wins will come

Portsmouth defender Jason Pearce is confident his side will start turning draws into wins.

Pompey needed a late Kanu goal to secure a third draw in five games this season against Cardiff on Saturday.

Pearce: "Cardiff came down and played some good football, but I think we had the opportunities to win the game. It's another draw but we're disappointed because we want to win our home games."

He added: "We're slowly getting there and the lads are gelling, so hopefully we'll soon start getting some wins.

"The more games we play together the better we'll become.

"It's still early days in the season and we're looking forward to our next game after the international break."
