Chelsea winger target Milos Krasic is set to stay in Serie 'A' this summer.
The Serbian has been linked with a handful of clubs across Europe during the transfer window, with the Blues reported willing to offer player-plus-cash for the 26-year-old, with Alex reported to be the make-weight from Stamford Bridge.
Krasic joined Juventus last summer from CSKA Moscow, and has so far made 41 appearances in all competitions for the Serie 'A' side.
Despite the arrival of Juan Mata at Chelsea, one of six signings in the transfer window, Krasic was still thought to be on the Blues radar, but Andre Villas-Boas now appears set to miss out on the player.
"It's the first time I heard something like that," agent Marko Naletilic told calciomercato.it.
"Krasic is having a great time in Turin, he just has to adapt to (Antonio) Conte's game which requires a lot of work on the wings. Milos has no intention of leaving Juventus and the club doesn't want to sell him. These rumours are totally unfounded and I can firmly deny them."
Chelsea continue to chase Croatian playmaker Luka Modric, but with less than 36 hours left in the transfer window, the Blues will need to work fast to secure the services of the 25-year-old.
Should that pursuit fail, the club are now known to be chasing Raul Meireles, with the BBC confirming Chelsea have offered Yossi Benayoun plus money for the services of the Portuguese international.
Villas-Boas has experience working with the player during their brief time together at Porto, and the manager is hoping to add his compatriot to the Chelsea ranks before 11pm Wednesday night.
