Eardley out of Wales clash

Published Add your comment

Blackpool defender Neal Eardley has withdrawn from the Wales squad ahead of their European Championship qualifying double header with England and Montenegro.

The 22-year-old suffered broken fingers after getting his hand caught in the turf during the recent 2-2 draw at Brighton.

He underwent corrective surgery last week, forcing him to miss the trip to Crystal Palace last weekend, but is hopeful of returning for the clash with Ipswich on Saturday, September 10.
