Stevenage have signed Josh Walker on loan from Watford until January 2012.

Walker spent a brief tenure with the Boro last season and scored against AFC Wimbledon in an FA Cup fixture, but, after featuring twice, was recalled following an injury to Stephen McGinn.

The midfielder also spent time on loan at Northampton in the second half of last season.

The 22-year-old, who began his career as a Middlesbrough trainee, has made two substitute appearances for the Hornets this season and will remain at Broadhall Way until at least the new year.
