QPR have agreed a fee with Sunderland for defender Anton Ferdinand, Press Association Sport understands.

The 26-year-old will undergo a medical and discuss personal terms with the Barclays Premier League newcomers in London on Wednesday afternoon.

Ferdinand, the younger brother of Manchester United and England centre-back Rio, moved to the north-east for a reported fee of about £8million three years ago from West Ham.
