Kermorgant leaves Foxes

Leicester have reached an agreement with Yann Kermorgant to cancel the French striker's contract with immediate effect.

The 29-year-old joined from French club Stade de Reims in the summer of 2009 and made 25 appearances during his first season, scoring once in a 2-0 win over Middlesbrough in May 2010.

He spent the 2010/11 season on loan back in France with Arles-Avignon in Ligue 1 before returning to Leicester this summer and was part of the squad that travelled on the club's pre-season tours of Sweden and Austria.
