Johnson appointed to Owls board

Sheffield Wednesday have appointed Mark Johnson as a director.

Johnson, who has worked with chairman Milan Mandaric in finance roles at both Leicester and Portsmouth, will take up an executive position designed to increase the internal strength and management across the business.

Mandaric said: "I would like to welcome Mark to Sheffield Wednesday."

He added: "This is a significant appointment for our club because of Mark's extensive experience in finance across the business world and not least in football."
