Leicester manager Sven-Goran Eriksson believes the addition of Jermaine Beckford to his playing staff completes his vision of a promotion-winning squad.
Beckford joined the Foxes on a four-year deal from Everton on Wednesday and Eriksson is sure he will make an immediate impact at the King Power Stadium.
"First of all he is a goalscorer, and that is important because you can't really create goalscorers," Eriksson told the Leicester Mercury.
"We will have a lot of options up front when everybody is fit.
"Even though the deal was done so late, I think he wanted to come here and I'm sure he will be very good for us.
"Now it's done, we have a very good squad and it is up to us to show that on the pitch."
Meanwhile, Leicester have agreed to extend defender Aleksandar Tunchev's loan spell with Crystal Palace until November.
The 30-year-old Bulgaria international joined Palace earlier this month after signing a new one-year-contract at King Power Stadium.
Tunchev has started four games for the Eagles since joining and has recently earned a recall to the Bulgaria national squad, his first call-up in over three years.
